llbard...you are missing the point. I spent my entire life serving as a Pilot/Officer in the U.S. Army. There is a very real threat to the freedom we have enjoyed in this country. Our current President, along with the UN, has real plans to disarm U.S. Citizens and dismantle our Constitution. If we as "free" citizens don't wake up and take a stand...your children will never know what "freedom" ever meant.

jdelaney3 is trying to emphasize the measures we will have to take to keep our country. I am afraid we are way past the point of "civil disobedience." Having lived and traveled overseas for 17 years of military service, the right to defend our selves and our families with guns, is the most important right of all.

If the federal government attempts to impose its will on the people of Montana, every American with a gun should flock to defend Montana with our lives. If we are not willing to stand up against tyranny in our own country, we will lose it.

BATFE recently warned gun manufacturers and dealers in Montana to desist in their intrastate effort to control the manufacture and sale of firearms. The struggle is underway. I hope and pray that the Montana legistature and the people of Montana do not relent. The legislature should commit to strongly supporting gun manufacturers--both financially and legally--when and if BATFE drags them into court for failing to comply with federal "authority". Montana and the country can't afford to lose this battle. And if Montana doesn't prevail in court, there's always the option of widespread civil disobedience. It worked for South Carolina in 1832. It can work again. We must not back off or otherwise appease. Too much is at stake.
